This week, The black caps (The NZ Cricket team) Played Bangladesh in the cricket world cup. This was our second game in the world cup, we hadn't lost yet and then... We played Bangladesh. Our team was playing well, but not on our A-Grade. They were batting first and set an goodish score of 244 all out. Now we were batting. Our opening batters didn't do to well and went out for a partnership of 49. The game was mostly close, and at the end it came down to when we needed 1 run from 14 balls. We finished it off with a four and won our second game. We are unbeaten and still are going well!!!
Hey Geordie, Rhys here (your neighbor) from T4, I really like your post, its nice to see people posting on OTC (out of the classroom) activities, especially sport. Do you keep up with the black caps or is it just something you have to do? This is a great post Geordie!
