What's Been in the News this Week ...

New Zealand Cricket

These last few weeks, Pakistan and New Zealand have been versing each other in three cricket ODIs. New Zealand played well and won all three of the ODIs.
In the third ODI, New Zealand history was made.

Who made History? Ross Taylor. He became the highest run scoring ODI player in New Zealand history. He beat Stephen Fleming's 8007 Runs In 279 Matches when he retired. Ross Taylor is beating that score by 18 runs. Ross Taylor is expecting for either Martin Guptill or Kane Williamson to beat the record when he retires.

Respect

In Whānau time, Mrs O' Sullivan's message was to respect the others. In class, We had to make a Google Drawing on Her Message. It was a Bit of a struggle for me, but here is my final result.

Comparing Occupations

For Literacy this week our class has been working on make comparisons from different jobs. Mrs Clark gave my group a story about zoo-keeping. After we had to do this Venn-diagram on two different jobs. I did ten for Zoo-keeper, ten for Soccer player and five similarities. I loved how hard the task was (especially for the  Zoo Keeper).
If I were to do it again, I would definitely add more to the Similarities.
